Do you find yourself in the
First, let me explain what I mean by "The Red Zone."
The Red Zone is when you experience high levels of distress. Now, distress can be a "catch-all" term but the important thing is that it means any emotion you don't want. It could be anger, frustration, guilt, shame, fear, worry, overwhelm, on and on...
Imagine a scale of 1-10, at a high level you would be a 10 out of 10 with steam coming out of your ears. The Red Zone in psychology is when you are at a level of 7 out of 10 or higher.
When we are in the Red Zone, our brain process information differently, we tend to get into all sorts of emotions such as feeling like a victim of our circumstances. That's why we want to get out of the Red Zone.
THE SOONER YOU REALIZE WHEN YOU ARE IN THE RED ZONE, THE SOONER YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
